Wheaton Streets - These streets within the boundaries of the Association that have been dedicated to the City of Wheaton are Blanchard, President, Farnham and Haverhill. These streets are subject to all laws of the State of Illinois and the Cit-.y of Wheaton. The opertinent city laws that apply to the streets are: Upon the accumulation of a two inch snow fall, all vehicles shall be removed from all streets and streets shall remain clear of all such vehicles until the accumulated snow has been removed. Parking on city streets between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. is prohibited. Parking of a vehicle is such a manner as to block public sidewalks is prohibited.
THE SPEED LIMIT ON ALL ASSOCIATION STREETS IS 15 MILES PER HOUR. Upon the accumulation of a two inch snow fall, all vehicles shall be removed from all streets and streets shall remain clear of all such vehicles until the accumulated snow has been removed. No parking at any time in the designated FIRE LANES per City Ordinance. Parking on Association streets between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. is prohibited. Parking of a vehicle in such a manner as to block public sidewalks and private drives is prohibited. City and Association Streets No boats, trailer, house trailer, commercial trucks, motorcycle or motorized recreational vehicle shall be stored permanently or temporarily in open view of the property, except that of the conventional passenger vehicles of the owners, their tenants and guests shall be permitted to be parked on the owner's respective driveway easement. Parking is allowed only on paved surfaces intended for the use of motor vehicles, parking of a motor vehicle in any other manner shall cause damage to the property of the Association. The Board of Directors shall note such violations and the damages caused, and in such case assess the violator the cost of repairing such damage. Legal expense including attorney's fees for the restraining continued or future damage is also an assessable cost. Parking in
such manner that denies a resident free vehicle access to and from his
exclusive driveway space is prohibited. (The attention of residents residing
in the cul-de-sac areas is particularly necessary to this provision, but
not limited to them.) ANY VEHICLE SHALL BE TOWED AWAY IF IT IS ABANDONED OVER 72 HOURS. Managing Agent will notify the resident by letter of the violation. Resident will be given 10 days from date of letter to remove- vehicle or towing will occur at the residents expense. PARKING PADS Not to be
used for any other purpose than resident or hour limit will be towed and owners will be liable for towing and vehicle storage charges. Car maintenance on public pad is prohibited. ANY VEHICLE
SHALL BE TOWED AWAY IF IT IS ABANDONED OVER Unit owners must use their private driveway before parking on pad. May not be used for parking of vehicles noted in 3a on previous page. VEHICLE RESTRICTIONS All vehicles in Briarcliffe must be fully operational and properly licensed. Vehicles must not be left unattended in a state of disrepair (includes flat tires, hanging bumpers or-hazardous condition) anywhere on property. Any vehicle that exceeds 6000 lbs, Gross Vehicle Weight as designated by manufacturer's specifications or exhibits a license plate greater than a "B" designation is not permitted. This regulations is not, however, meant to restrict vehicles servicing the property; i.e., garbage trucks, landscapers, moving vans etc. No snowmobiles, dirt, track bikes or any other unlicensed motor vehicles may be operated in Briarcliffe. No snowplows
other than contracted by the Association are permitted on the streets
or common property of Briarcliffe Association. |
