Holiday Decorations

If holiday lights are displayed on the building, it is preferred that they be attached/clipped to the gutter. Nails, screws, and/or other hangers may be drilled into the fascia board and/or wood trim (i.e. wood painted white) only and not into the brick wood siding, or roofs. Homeowners should limit the number of holes made in the building.

Holiday decorations shall not be attached to the brick or wood siding using any nails, screws, and/or other types of hangers that make holes in the building.

Holiday lights are to be removed form all trees and shrubs by January 31. All other holiday winter decorations must be removed by March 31.

Attachments to Buildings
To avoid potential damage to brick and wood, planters or other decorative items may not be hung on and/or against any brick or wood walls. Seasonal plants in hanging baskets may be hung from hooks or hangers securely mounted in the wood trim (i.e. wood painted white) on overhangs only, not in the brick or siding. Repair of any damage caused by the attachments is the responsibility of the homeowner.
