Decorations for the Christmas holiday season may be displayed the Saturday before Thanksgiving until January 15th, at which time all decorations must be completely removed. In the event that said decorations are not removed within the time period provided, the Association may see to such removal at the owner’s expense. Other holiday decorations may be displayed three weeks prior to the holiday and removed one week after the holiday. Decorations shall be allowed only on a unit’s door entrance and/or porch and/or balcony. The decorations may only be hung by gutter clips, or in some way as to not pierce any exterior surface of the building. Do not use nails or hooks as this causes damage to the wood and creates the potential of leaks at the siding, fascia or soffit. No decorations will be allowed on any roof, gutters, grass, or parking spaces. Strobe lighting may not be used. In the event there is any damage to any limited common element or common element caused by any decorations (either through handling, use, removal or otherwise), the Unit-owner shall be directly responsible for any necessary repair to bring the common element to its original condition. If said Unit-owner does not undertake said necessary repair upon the removal of the damaging decorations, the Association will charge the cost of such repair to the Unit-owner. Any potential safety hazards (including, but not limited to, non-waterproofed electrical cords, the lack of necessary extension cords, etc) are strictly prohibited.
