2005-2006 SNOW

Contracted Snow Removal Program
and Winter Helpful Hints

The Acres Group is please to service Fairfield Village Manor Homes, Town Home, Condominiums and Phase IV for the winter season.  We would like to review the basics of our service agreement for snow removal to your community.

Your service starts on November 1, 2005 and ends March 31, 2006.

The contracted service provides for snow removal for private drives, guest parking, walks and stoops. The roads are plowed by the Village.

The property will be plowed when there has been a snowfall of at least tow (2) inches in depth.

Snowfall forecasted from two (2) to four (4) inches:
Plowing operations begin no later than 2 hours of end of snowfall on a 2-4" snowfall.

Snowfall forecasted from four (4) to ten (10) inches:
Plowing operations are to be completed 8-10 hours of the END of the snowfall.
To insure access and egress to the property, plowing operations will begin at approximately four (4) inches of accumulation, depending on the duration and severity of the storm.

Snowfall forecasted over ten (10) inches or more is done within the capabilities of men and equipment,

De-icing agents (salt and calcium chloride) are applied according to approval by Board of Directors and are not an included contract item.  During slippery conditions, we will be in contact with your appointed Board Members.

Acres website, www.acresgroup.com, is updated regularly by region with storm status and conditions and also operations of our snow removal team.  Your region is the Wauconda or north region.  There is also a handy link to Accuweather for those who may want to see climate conditions.  As an extension to our communication process and efficiency, we will be sending correspondence via email to the property manager and designated board members throughout the winter season.
