Contracted Snow Removal Program
and Winter Helpful Hints

Landscape Concepts is please to service Fairfield Village Manor Homes, Town Home, Condominiums for the winter season.  We would like to review the basics of our service agreement for snow removal to your community.

Your service starts on November 1, and ends March 31, .

The contracted service provides for snow removal for private drives, guest parking, walks and stoops. The roads are plowed by the Village.

The property will be plowed when there has been a snowfall of at least one (1) inch in depth.

Snowfall forecasted from two (1) to four (4) inches:
Plowing operations begin no later than 2 hours of end of snowfall on a 2-4" snowfall.

Snowfall forecasted from four (4) to ten (10) inches:
Plowing operations are to be completed 8-10 hours of the END of the snowfall.
To insure access and egress to the property, plowing operations will begin at approximately four (4) inches of accumulation, depending on the duration and severity of the storm.

Snowfall forecasted over ten (10) inches or more is done within the capabilities of men and equipment,

De-icing agents (salt and calcium chloride) are applied according to approval by Board of Directors and are not an included contract item.  During slippery conditions, we will be in contact with your appointed Board Members. 

Winter Parking:

Townhomes and Manorhomes: Be careful while parking on or near the street during the snow season. Snow plows are out and your car can be damaged if it is not parked in your garage or driveway.
NEVER allow any part of your car to rest on lawn areas as this damages the landscaping. Vehicles can be towed and / or fines can be imposed to anyone who causes damage to grass.

Condominiums: Please try to park your car in your garage to help simplify snow removal efforts in and around parking lots.

Salt Buckets are provided should an icy condition be noticed. Please feel free to help yourself to the salt and help make our community a little safer for all of us.
