Non-Permitted Vehicles Defined

The following vehicles may not be parked anywhere in the Association except in a garage with the door closed:

a) Any vehicle without current registration and license plates;

b) Any vehicle without a current valid Municipal vehicle sticker, except vehicles of guests of a unit owner or tenant;

c) Any vehicle bearing a commercial endorsement, except the decal of the dealer who sold the vehicle, and the make, name, model, plate, and logo of the manufacturer of the vehicle;

d) Any vehicle which has more or less than two axles and four wheels;

e) Motor bikes, motorcycles, mopeds, and snowmobiles;

f) Boats of any type;

g) Recreational vehicles or buses more than seventy (70) inches in height from ground level, including Class A or C motor homes;

h) Trailer of any kind;

i) Any vehicle bearing a commercial license plate;

Any vehicle used for a commercial purpose with tools, equipment. or materials used for the commercial purpose visible in it.

Vehicles Permitted

All other vehicles shall be permitted.

Exceptions to Commercial Prohibitions

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in Paragraph 1, above, commercial vehicles may park in designated parking areas when working for or providing service to the Association or a unit owner.

Parking

a) Vehicles shall not be parked in a manner which interferes with ingress to an egress from any driveway or the Common Elements.

b) Parking is prohibited in fire lanes.

c) Parking is limited to paved areas, including streets, whether dedicated or not, driveways, and parking areas.

5. Storage Prohibited

a) Storage of vehicles any place in the Association is prohibited.

b) A Vehicle shall be deemed to be in "storage" when it is inoperable for any reason; or a non-permitted vehicle, as prohibited in Section 1, above; or which has not been moved, under its own power, for a period of seven (7) consecutive days.

c) Any vehicle left in a hazardous condition is subject to immediate towing.

An example of hazardous condition is a car left up on jacks and unattended.

Motor Vehicles Generally

a) Vehicle movements are restricted to paved surfaces (excluding patios).

b) Vehicles are prohibited from driving, parking, stopping, or standing on the grass or any other improved area, except paved surfaces (excluding patios).

c) Repair or mechanical maintenance (e.g. changing oil) of vehicles is prohibited while parked in a driveway or on common area.

d) Vehicles which are noisy are prohibited.

e) No unit owner, his invitees, or guests shall park on the apron of any other unit driveway.

f) Washing of vehicles is permitted only on the paved driveway of a unit.

g) "For Sale" signs on cars are prohibited. Signs may not be displayed on the car itself, car windows, or anywhere on the cars.

Any vehicle in violation of any of the above rules and regulations governing parking will be subject to a three (3) day tow sticker with towing at the end of the three (3) day period at the owner's expense. If a vehicle is determined to be creating sufficient hazard to the health, safety, and welfare of the community in the opinion of one Board member or the Managing Agent, immediate towing will result at the owner's expense. If a vehicle is determined to be prohibiting access to areas of the common or limited common elements to complete ordinary business of the Association, immediate towing will result at the owner's expense. The Association accepts no responsibility for damage or theft to any vehicle or property as a result of a tow.
