The collection day is Thursday. When a holiday occurs on collection day, collection will occur the following day. Materials must be placed at the curb no earlier then 6:00 pm the day before the collection. Refuse containers must be removed from the curb shortly after the pickup.

Trash/garbage, recycling bins and other material shall be kept only inside the unit garage prior to scavenger pickup.

All trash/garbage for pickup must be placed in plastic bags or covered containers. Bags and covered containers must be sealed so that no trash/garbage can spill.

Newspapers placed in recycling bins must be placed in large paper bags (no plastic bags can be used) so that they do not blow out of container.

Large cardboard boxes or cartons shall be broken down and tied in bundles no larger than 2' x 2'.

Trash/garbage, recycling bins, and other material shall be placed' on the grass area at the end of the driveway for pickup and shall not be placed as to obstruct sidewalks or driveways.

In accordance with Village ordinance, trash/garbage, recycling bins, or other material shall not be put out for pickup prior to 6:00 p.m. on the night before pickup.

Any litter remaining on the ground after trash/garbage and recycling bin pickup should be cleaned up and removed the same day of pickup by owner/resident responsible.

The same day that trash/garbage is picked up, the recycling bin is to be picked up and returned to the owner's garage and not left out on the street.

For removal of larger items (refrigerators, appliances, etc.) resident must contact the Village or disposal service for pickup information.

Absolutely no trash/garbage is to be stored on Limited Common Elements, or Common Elements (i.e., patios, balconies, entry halls, access halls to garages).

Beginning October 1st, both the Association and the Village of Schaumburg require taht trash be placed at the curb no earlier than 4:00pm on the day before pick-up and that cans be removed by the evening of pick-up day. 

When a holiday occurs on Sunday, it will be observed on Monday.
