Bloomingdale parking rules must be observed as posted. Homeowner automobile parking is restricted to garage and driveway only. Parking is not permitted on the grass or crosswalks. Cars may not extend into or block sidewalks. Motorcycles are not allowed on decks, sidewalks or grass areas. Off street parking areas-GUEST PARKING- are for use of the homeowner's GUEST parking only. Parking violations will be strictly enforced. If a guest will be visiting for more than 72 hours and the guest parking is being used, management must be notified. Cars must be parked perpendicular to the garage door. Parking is permitted in the streets if it does not affect access to any driveway, walkway or mailboxes and is not otherwise prohibited Boats and trailers must be parked in the garage. Oversized vehicles or self-contained motor homes may not be stored on the driveway or in the off-street parking areas. Parking is not permitted on streets after a snowfall - per Bloomingdale ordinance. The parking of non-licensed vehicles or vehicles without current registrations are not permitted on the property. Also inoperable or junk vehicles are not permitted to be parked on the property except in covered garages with the door closed. Vehicles in violation may be towed off the property ten (10) days after warning notice or towing sticker has been issued. Automobile repairs shall be limited to those that may be completed before nightfall and those that will not damage the common areas. The owner is responsible for any cleaning of the area and any damages caused to the common area. Any damage caused to driveway or driveway sealant (due to oil or petroleum products, etc.) by a resident's vehicle will be repaired at the owner's expense. All major auto repairs/maintenance must be done in the garage. Recreational vehicles such as motorcycles, mini-bikes, trail bikes, all terrain four wheelers (ATV's), snowmobiles, or any non-licensed or non-registered motor driven vehicles cannot be driven in/on common and limited common areas of the Association and cannot be parked within the Association except in covered garages with the door closed. No commercial vehicles shall be parked in/on common and limited common areas of the Association overnight, except in covered garages with the door closed. Commercial vehicles are defined as any vehicle that bears any signs or lettering in reference to any commercial purpose or any vehicle issued a type B through H license plate or in excess of 8,000 pounds. No trucks (as in pick-up truck) or cargo vans of any size or plate classification shall be parked in/on common or limited common areas of the Association overnight, except in covered garages with the door closed. Passenger vans and sport utility vehicles (SUV's of any size that qualify for and have been issued a conventional passenger automobile plate and do not violate any restrictions in Section II, will be deemed a passenger vehicle and are only subject to rules applying to all passenger automobiles. |
