Trees are not to be planted, moved, or removed without written Board approval. Trees can be trimmed by Homeowners, but they cannot have their tops cropped, more have lower branches trimmed higher than 10 feet from the ground. Homeowners are responsible for regular watering of young trees within or adjacent to their deeded property. The Association is responsible for the replacement of dead trees unless due to habitual Homeowner abuse or negligence.

Homeowners are responsible for the watering of the grass, bushes and trees immediately around them. The Association will not assume liability for the replacement of grass, bushes, and trees habitually neglected by Homeowners.

Homeowners are responsible for all flowers they plant. Flowers planted in the tree or shrubbery beds within Deeded property must not threaten the health of the trees and shrubs planted there and must not infringe on the regular maintenance of the trees, shrubs, or their beds.

Vegetable gardens are permitted only in the backyards. Gardens cannot occupy more than 1/2 the total backyard in sum and cannot restrict landscape maintenance. Raised brickwork or landscape timber borders are permitted, but no fencing of any kind. Gardens can be ordered turned under if they create a wildlife nuisance from raiding mice, raccoons, possum, skunk, deer, birds and etc. Gardens left to grown wild may be ordered turned under. Vegetables that grow 5 feet or taller including but not limited to corn and sunflowers are restricted to 6 plants per yard.

All elevation changes are subject to Architectural Review. Bushes in backyards or in entryways can be moved, removed, or replaced as desired by the Homeowner. Consent of Immediate Neighbors is required for any dramatic or extensive alterations to the property. Trees cannot be removed or planted without submitting a change request to the Board.
