Vehicles without valid state license plates and appropriate municipal vehicle stickers if required; or commercial vehicles of any type or kind, including commercial vans having commercial advertising on the body thereof are not permitted park in the guest parking area. If they belong to a resident, they must be parked in a garage or immediately behind the garage. Commercial vehicles may park in permitted areas when used for their normal commercial purposes, so long as such parking is only for the period of time necessary to provide the commercial services requested by a resident or the Association.

Snowmobiles may not be operated anywhere on the property. Motor bikes, mopeds, and motorcycles shall not be operated on the property except for purposes of ingress and egress.

Stop signs, no parking signs and traffic controls must be obeyed. The speed limit is twenty-five (25) miles per hour on all streets in Prairie Village.

Parking

Outdoor parking of trucks, buses, trailers, aircraft, boats or recreational vehicles as defined in the Illinois Motor Vehicle Code, aircraft or boats is prohibited. However, a trailer or recreational vehicle may be parked outdoors for a period of time not exceeding twenty-four (24) hours for the purpose of loading and unloading.

No vehicles (including recreational vehicles) shall be stored in that portion of the parking area designated for public parking.

Parking is permitted on the south or east side of Shelly Lane. No parking is permitted on Compton Rd.

All vehicles are restricted to paved surfaces, including the streets, courts, driveways and parking areas on the property. There shall be no parking on routes of passage access to any other portions of the property, including all lawn areas, sidewalks and fire lanes. Vehicles shall not be parked, maintained or stored in a manner which interferes with ingress to or egress from the garage drive area or other portions of the property. Parking of any motorized vehicles is prohibited on grassy common areas or sidewalks.

At no time will inoperable vehicles be allowed in any exterior parking area.

Bicycles, wagons, and portable basketball hoops and other play equipment are not allowed on any common parking area and must be stored inside overnight.

No parking is permitted within fifteen (15) feet of hydrants or mailboxes, wherever located.

Resident owners and long-term guests are requested to park cars in their garage or directly behind their garage.

If a resident/owner has in excess of two (2) cars, the third car shall be parked directly behind their garage. Guest parking is to be saved
for guests.

Non-residents cars may not be left unattended in guest parking for a period of more than seven (7) days in the summer or more than forty-eight (48) hours in the winter.

In order to expedite snow removal during snowfall of two (2) inches or more, all Owners/Occupants should park in their garage.

Repairs and Maintenance

Repairs and maintenance of automobiles are not permitted on the property, except for minor repairs, emergency repairs, such as changing a tire, are allowed.

Vehicles may be washed in the garage or access drive, but only bio-degradable products may be used.

Towing Vehicles

In addition to the provisions for enforcement contained herein and in the Violations and Fines Policy, the Board shall have authority to tow vehicles which are parking in violation of these rules under the following circumstances:

When a vehicle has been abandoned, as defined in the Illinois Motor Vehicle Code, and a notice of such violation was affixed to the vehicle owner, and at his expense.

When a vehicles is parked in a manner which presents an immediate danger to the property or to the health, safety and welfare of any person thereon, the vehicles may be towed without notice to the owner.

When a vehicle is parked in violation of any of these Vehicle Rules and the owner of the vehicle has been found guilty of at least two (2) prior violations of any provisions of these Vehicle Rules, the vehicles may be towed upon the occurrence of the third or subsequent violation without notice to the vehicle owner, and at his expense.
