Holiday decorations shall be allowed; however, such decorations shall not be installed earlier than one month before and must be removed no more than one month after the holiday date coinciding with said decorations.  Seasonal decorations that are not holiday-specific are permitted at any time.

Decorations shall be allowed on a unit’s door entrance and balcony.  Any decorations beyond those placed on the door or patio, at the Board’s discretion, may be placed in areas where they create no hazard to other tenants, nor create a safety hazard.  Such areas may be, but shall not necessarily be, in bushes or trees (and, if allowed only to the extent that there are not loose or unsightly wires remaining on common elements).  Freestanding, but properly secured, decorations may be allowed at the Board’s discretion in grassy (not newly sodded) areas of a unit.  In no way shall any decorations prevent ingress or egress to the unit owner, any tenant, or any service person or the like.  Further, it is the Board’s desire to maintain uniformity and the aesthetic appearance of the complex, and therefore, all decorations will be evaluated with these criteria in mind.

In the event there is any damage cause by any decorations (either through hanging, use, removal, or otherwise) the Unit Owner shall be directly responsible for any necessary repair.  If said Unit Owner does not undertake said necessary repair upon the removal of the damaging decorations, the cost of such repair will be charged to the Unit Owner by the Association.  Any potential safety hazards (including, but not limited to, non-waterproofed electrical cords, the lack of necessary extension cords, etc.) are strictly prohibited.
