At its February meeting, the Board of Directors approved dates for garage sales. Garage sales may be held on the third weekend of may, June or July only, between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. Merchandise must be kept within the confines of your garage and driveway.

The restriction on sales is intended to limit traffic and to prevent a "flea market" atmosphere. Hoffman Estates does not require a permit to hold a sale and has no ordinance governing them.
