Fence Restriction: The owner of each lot may (but need not) erect a fence on the interior boundary of the Owner's Lot. Any fence which is erected on the Owner's Lot shall be subject to the following. The fence shall be constructed within the fence guidelines as established from time-to-time by the Association and as supplemented by the City Code, stating the type of fence allowed; and The Owner shall, before constructing any fence, submit his/her plan (location and type) for the fence to the City for approval; and the Owner of the Lot shall at all times maintain the fence in good condition and repair at the Owner's sold cost and expense; and the fence shall be constructed with wood or cedar boards only not to exceed 5 feet in height. Chain link fence is prohibited on all Lots; and the fence shall not encroach upon any easement dedicated for the purpose of landscape improvements, or community enhancement. CITY OF ELGIN FENCE RESTRICTIONS Certain subdivisions do not allow fences in front or side yards. Any yard adjoining a street is considered a front yard. The following restrictions apply to front yards. a. The maximum height for a solid fence
is 3 feet The following restriction applies to side
