Current residents (as of April 1, 1992) who have more than one (1) pet may keep them, but may not replace if the total number were to exceed more than one (1) pet.

The following size limitations hall apply to all new dogs; that when mature, dog shall not exceed eighteen inches (18") in shoulder height or thirty (30) pounds in weight.

Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.

Designated dog walking areas will be perimeter of the property north of Shorewood Drive.

Those who move into Shorewood Condominiums after June 30 or acquire a new pet after June 30 of any particular year will only be required to pay one half (1) the regular yearly registration fee, but those who move in prior to that date or acquire a new pet prior to that date, must pay the full yearly fee.

No pet food shall be placed outside any unit (common hallways, lots, etc.)

Licensing Fee Schedule:

All dog/cat owners - $25.00 per year per each dog or cat.

Fee waivers for those requiring pets due to owner's physical disability.

If a pet is not registered with the Association immediately upon its arrival, a licensing fee and a fine will be imposed on the owner of the unit.

Violations of these rules will subject the unit owner to a fine, according to the fine schedule, for each occurrence and removal of the pet from Shorewood for repeated occurrences. Anyone witnessing a violation of these pet rules should report the incident to the Agent including the name of the offender, description of the pet, date, time and location of the violation.

All pets must be leashed.

Any pet creating a nuisance, unreasonable disturbance, or damage to the Association property will be fined.

The Village Code Enforcement officer of Glendale Heights will be carbon copied on all pet violation letters.
