All pets are to be registered with the Management office within thirty (30) days of either the date a pet is brought into Steeple Hill or the date this rule is adopted by the Board of Directors, whichever is later. This registration will include proof of current animal license and shots. (When applicable).

All pets must be kept on a leash when outside the occupant's unit. At no time are they to be permitted to run loose.

Every owner of any pet shall exercise proper care and control of his/her pet to prevent it from becoming a public nuisance.

Pets shall not create excessive or untimely noise causing annoyance and discomfort to surrounding neighbors, nor disturb the reasonable use and enjoyment of the Common Areas.

Pets shall not be in violation of State, County, City, or local ordinances.

No pets may be permitted in the tennis courts, swimming areas, Recreation Hall and laundry rooms.

Pets should be walked in the Common Areas between Higgins and Heritage Roads, between Mesa Road and the south fence, and an appropriate route to and from these areas.

Any excreta matter or stains left in any Common Area by a pet must be cleaned immediately and properly disposed of in a sanitary way by the owner of the pet.

All occupants are expected to pay for damage resulting from their pet's behavior.

Owners and tenants shall not use their Units as pet-sitting facilities.

Any Unit Owner who has been found to have been responsible for more then two (2) violations of the above rules shall be deemed to be liable for having a pet which causes or creates a nuisance or unreasonable disturbance within the meaning of Article 15, section 6 of the Declaration. Thereafter the board, after consideration of the facts and circumstances, may elect to order the Unit Owner to have the pet removed permanently from the property upon three (3) days' written notice to the owner from the Board or its authorized agents.

Effective August 1st, 1999, no unit owner shall be permitted to retain more than one pet, such pet to be of 30 pounds or less. Previously owned and registered pets will be permitted until the demise of such pet.

Pit Bull dogs and other dangerous pets are prohibited by Village Ordinance and Steeple Hill Condominium Rules.
