Driveways must yield to traffic on Surry Park Lane. Standard rules of the road apply at all times, including those associated with school buses. All motor vehicles must be properly licensed and all drivers must have valid drivers licenses. To the extent possible, vehicles with loud exhaust systems should be operated in such a manner as not to disturb others. "Joy Riding" on the premises is prohibited. The term "Passenger cars" as used herein specifically excludes commercial and recreational vehicles such as vans, trucks, campers, mobile homes, trailers, boats, limousines, and hearses and any vehicle with commercial advertising or business names appearing on the body. Snowmobiles, motorcycles and motorbikes may be parked in garages where special permits without imposing on adjacent parking spaces. Vehicles not permitted to be operated on the premises include the following, subject to discretion of the Board:

Vehicles other than passenger cars which are permitted on the premises must be parked in one of the following areas:
Outside parking spaces are not assigned; first come, first served. There shall be no parking on or vehicle passage across any unpaved areas or sidewalks. Parking behind garages is strictly prohibited. Any vehicle may be removed by the Board without notice to the vehicle owner and at his/her expense if it is parked in a non-permitted manner or is deemed abandoned or inoperable. Vehicles should removed for snow removal and other maintenance requirements. Bicycles, tricycles, buggies, wagons, toys etc. should stored in garages or store-rooms. They detract from the appearance of the community when left on sidewalks, patios, decks, or other common areas. |
