Trash must be enclosed in sealed plastic bags and deposited each day in the receptacles assigned to each unit. The unit occupant is responsible for ensuring the trash gets into the receptacle. The lids are to be kept closed on all receptacles at all times. Each unit owner/resident is responsible for assisting with keeping their receptacle area clean and free of loose trash. If any item is too big or heavy to be placed inside the receptacle, it must be disposed of by the individual unit owner or renter. Do not throw or place any type of flammable liquid in or around the receptacles. In accordance with the Village of Streamwood ordinance, "Placement For Pickup Of Garbage: All garbage and rubbish shall be placed at the curb for pickup no sooner than five o'clock (5:00) pm on the day preceding the day of pickup and containers shall be removed from said curb by nine (9:00) pm on the day of the regularly scheduled pickup day, this subsection shall apply on the following day. Lost or stolen containers may be replaced for a fee of $65.00. Call the managing agent to request a new receptacle. Damaged containers may be replaced free of charge. Call the managing agent to request a new receptacle. Replacement costs are subject to change. Waste pick up day is Thursday. |
