The Bloomingdale Police Department provides enforcement of posted traffic and parking regulations for homeowners and their visitors. In addition, please follow the following guidelines:

1. Any unit Owner in possession or ownership of a commercial vehicle shall park in the owner's garage or driveway only. A commercial vehicle is legally defined, as "A commercial vehicle is any vehicle operated for the transportation of persons or property in the furtherance of any commercial or industrial enterprise for hire or not for the hire. This does not include a commuter van, a vehicle used in the ride sharing arrangements or a recreational vehicle not being used commercially."

2. Per village laws, no vehicles possessing a B or C plate or above shall be parked in any residential area.

3. Vehicles in guest parking are not to be used for advertisement of any purpose. No "For Sale" signs may be displayed in or on vehicles parked in guest parking.

4. Vehicles may not be parked in guest parking if they are unable to start, in disrepair or that have flat tires.

5. Homeowner's may park their vehicles in guest parking provided the following:

A. The homeowner is using their garage and driveway for the parking for their vehicles first.

B. Vehicle has not been parked in guest parking for longer than five days. Vehicles parked longer than 48 hours in guest parking may not return that vehicle to guest parking for 24 hours once moved.

C. Vehicle Owner has requested to the management company via written letter or e-mail requesting that said vehicle be allowed to remain in guest parking. This letter must contain a reason why the vehicle must remain in guest parking for longer then the 5- day limit. The Board of Directors will grant or refuse any requests based on reasonable perimeters for their request.

6. All motor vehicles are restricted to the streets and parking areas. The use of said vehicles to move or park on the common property is prohibited.

7. Snowmobiles may not be operated anywhere on the property. Mini-bikes, mopeds, and motorcycles shall not be operated on the property except for the purpose on ingress and ingress and egress.

8. Vehicle repairs must be limited to homeowner's garage only. Repairs to vehicles are not permitted on the driveways. Any damage to the driveway will be assessed back to the unit owner. No repairs to vehicles of any kind are permitted on the common ground.

9. As a consideration to our neighbors, all signs and traffic controls must be obeyed and are subject to enforcement by the Bloomingdale Police Department.

10. No parking is permitted within15 feet of the fire hydrants, wherever located.

11. No overnight parking of trailers of any kind is permitted on common property, driveways or guest parking areas.

12. Homeowners must remove their vehicles from guest parking between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. when the amount of snow is equal to or greater than 2 inches. If the homeowner fails to comply, there will be an automatic fine assessed per day of the snow event.

13. The board of Directors reserves the right to have any vehicles towed. Vehicle owners will be responsible for any towing or vehicle storage fees incurred. The board will make all efforts to contact the vehicle owner prior to towing. Towing will only occur if the homeowner has not complied with all of the previous said rules within the section of the Rules and Regulations.
